27th Annual Thanksgiving Tournament & Mite Jamboree

Dates: November 29 – December 1tst 2013

The Warwick Junior Hockey Association is pleased to invite your organization to participate in our 27th Annual Thanksgiving Hockey Tournament and Mite Jamboree to be held at the Thayer & Warburton Arenas in Warwick, Rhode Island.

All teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games with a maximum of six games. All games will be 12-minute stop-time periods officiated by certified USA Hockey referees. This is a great tournament and features some of the most competitive “A” Teams from the New England and Mid-Atlantic area.

Mite A Travel (almost full ice, Limited to 6 teams)

Squirt A Travel (Limited to 6 Teams)

PeeWee A Travel (Limited to 6 Teams

Location: All games will be played at the Thayer Arena & Warburton Arena. Rinks are co-located at 975 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI 02889.

Awards & Amenities:

  • Trophies will be awarded to players from both championship and runner-up teams in all divisions as well as team trophies.

  • Skills Competition – Fastest Skaters & Mini 1 on 1 for Best Goalie & Shooter.

  • Full Size Pool next to the Hockey rinks

  • Sample some of best Seafood in RI in our Food Tent.

Admission: There will be NO admission charge for these games.

Entrance Fees:

  • The cost for the 2013 tournament (Mite A, Squirt A, & PW A) is $900.00 total; if payment made in full by October 15th, fee reduced to $800.00 per team.

  • A non-refundable deposit of $200.00 must accompany application and team roster - Payment & roster honored on a first come, first serve basis.

  • After $200 deposit, remaining payment must be made in full - $600 by Oct 15th or $700 by November 1st.
